SculpSure Q & A

How does SculpSure work?

SculpSure is an FDA-cleared laser lipolysis system that targets pockets of fat. The system’s advanced technology uses laser heat waves to destroy fat cells, without burning your skin or heating your skin’s surface to an unsafe temperature. During the weeks following your treatment, fat cells continuously start flushing out through your lymphatic system. Clinical trials show that SculpSure clients lose as much as 24% of fat cells from the targeted area. Once fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good!

SculpSure is approved for targeting fat on your:

  • Flanks
  • Abdomen
  • Thighs
  • Back
  • Chin

SculpSure is non-invasive and only requires you to sit back and relax with the paddles on your treatment area. With little-to-no discomfort involved, you can schedule sessions during your lunch break and return to work afterward!

Can SculpSure help me lose weight?

SculpSure isn’t a weight-loss tool. It’s more of a way to put a finishing touch on all of your hard work after months of diet and exercise. While fat is permanently destroyed and you might see the number on the scale decrease slightly, the system is designed to help you tone problem spots. SculpSure works best if you have a body mass index (BMI) under 30 — or are within about 20-30 pounds of your goal weight.

When will I see results with SculpSure?

While you won’t leave your SculpSure session looking instantly slimmer, rest assured, those fat cells are dissolving. Most men and women start noticing a difference in the treatment area within four to six weeks. But with each passing day, you continue seeing improvement. You should have optimal results around the 12-week mark.

Will I need more than one SculpSure treatment?

Possibly, but it just depends on how your body responds to the treatment and how much fat you have to lose. You can get an idea of how many sessions you may need during your consultation. Keep track of your progress through pictures or measurements along the way to gauge how well you’re doing. If you do want or need another treatment, plan on waiting 6-12 weeks.
